SAOGIKU has started to exhibit the collection of HOTSHOT and RAYTUNE.
These lure are hand-made products with using Balsa wood, and mainly use for stream fishing in the mountain area to catch YAMAME & IWANA, which in Japanese native fish.
There are hundreds of hand-made lure in Japan. HOTSHOT & RAYTUNE are absolutely top brands among lures for streaming fishing. And those are very difficult to obtain even in Japan. Sometimes those are traded by $200-$500/piece in internet auction.

The creator of RAYTUNE, Mr.Uehara is inspired by HOTSHOT and he has being made that world deepen and widen through producing his products. Around 100 pieces of HOTSHOT & RAYTUNE is difficult to see even in Japan. Some comes from collection of TOSHI, some comes from a studio which was left after Mr.Matsumoto passed away. If the plastic lures which we usually use are HONDA AIR BLADE, we can say HOTSHOT and RAYTUNE is KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-14.
It is perfect design, sensitiveness, natural coloring…. These hand-made lures are great not only on looking but also in action. Unfortunately we cannot show that terrific action in the water. We hope many anglers can touch the highest end among thousands lures.
