FISHING DERBY BY JAPANESE ANGLERS IN VIETNAM

A Japanese fishing group in Ho Chi Minh opened a ceremony for awarding a Fishing Derby 2014 last Saturday.

The fishing derby was hold for Barramundi and Bream from 01/Jan to 31/Oct. The attendants compete each other by length of a fish. Only Japanese can attend this competition.

In 2014 the longest Barramundi was 71cm, the longest bream was 27cm.

It may not look big records. But if you are a foreign angler, you will know how difficult to reach fishes in this country. Besides, they all are "serious" Japanese worker, they only could go fishing only weekend. So these records is surely worth to be praised.

Rods, Reels, Lines…many prizes were presented from sponsors, like Varivas, Major Craft, Hayabusa and Saogiku as well.

In 2015 the group will grade up the event. The competition will start from Aril to December.
