My Favorite Fishing in Japan Part1

If I am asked what kind of lure fishing I like in Japan, I can immediately answer that I like stream fishing best. Just before I moved to Vietnam I lived in
Nagano-prefecture where is surrounded by mountains. So last 10 years in Japan I did stream fishing mainly.

As many people knows most area of Japan has developed deeply. So it is very difficult to find untouched nature by human being. Only deep inside of mountain still remains that kind of true nature. With green of trees, summit of mountains and the murmur of stream, We play with small but beautiful fishes like jewels. The name of those fishes are AMAGO & IWANA. We can feel the beauty of Japan-which is country of mountains-through this fishing.
Sometimes the field could be streams only 30cm width.
This sensitive fishing has raised in Japanese nature.
With delicate fishing rod shorter than 5 feet,
a tiny reel like a precious machine and 2lb line.
Minnow lures small like 4~5cm completely imitate real bait fishes.
Another character of stream fishing is that fishermen enjoy to use beautiful woods
for their landing net, rod grip and lure boxes.
They really feel comfortable when harmonize with nature.

Some of those tackles and hand-made lures like HOTSHOT, RAYTUNE and WOODBAIT
has already reached to the high, which is called the Art.
