TENKARA FISHING

 SAKAKIBARA MASAMI is one of top angler for Tenkara Fishing in Japan.

Tenkara is a little bit similar to Fly Fishing but does not use a reel.

I was surprised to know that some Vietnamese anglers believe Tenkara fishing comes from China.

Tenkara was absolutely born in Japan with the back ground of Japanese beautiful streams and mountains.

I and Mr.Sakakibara has been known each other around 10 years through the activity to preserve a native fish “IWANA" in Japan

His passion to Tenkara Fishing is special. So he is called ONI (An Ogre) of Tenkara.

And he has opened Tenkara school in many area in Japan and in foreign country like Italy.
