There are 2 kinds of fishes in stream of Japan.
Amago ( Yamame ) and Iwana.
We can use same tackles to fish these two,
But the character and how to fish are quite different between these two.

To do the stream fishing, we have to be tough.

It is not a kind of fishing like…...

We can do it just in front of the car and motorbike which we stopped.

Or we can wait on one point until fishes come to us.

If I am asked what kind of lure fishing I like in Japan, I can immediately answer that I like stream fishing best. Just before I moved to Vietnam I lived in Nagano-prefecture where is surrounded by mountains. So last 10 years in Japan I did stream fishing mainly.
